Paypal has launched a facebook application named "Send Money" that lets people send money to their friends. We will be having two choices :
1. Either send money simply
2.Or send money with an e-card.
You can select a card from the list, then choose whom to send, i.e. your friend's name and then how much money to send. There are several other ways to pay with paypal via facebook but this is the first application that enables peer-to-peer payments via Facebook and Paypal. There are no extra transaction fees apart from Paypal's regular limits and international fees because it is a peer-to-peer transaction.
The main objective of this application is to enable people from all around the world to send and recieve money through world's largest social networking site. Paypal was there to emphasize on e-cards. According to Paypal, more than 500 million ecards are sent every year. So we can get loads of choices in e-cards for bithdays or any other occasions. People on facebook who see that its a friend's birthday can quickly launch the application and send a card and some cash within no time. The application is also considered to be useful for lottery pools.
